The farm is certified to the highest step level they are eligible for.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.wixstatic.com\/media\/f2640f_d2bb80df39f948aa9a624f3ae16e5775~mv2.png\/v1\/fit\/w_286,h_179,al_c,q_5\/file.png\" alt=\"Certified humane, agriculture, healthy eating \"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/certifiedhumane.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Certified Humane<\/strong><\/a><strong> &#8211; <\/strong>Certified Humane is a third-party accreditation that requires <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dictionary.com\/browse\/ruminant\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ruminants<\/a> to have outdoor pasture access for at least part of their lives, defines space requirements and bird and animal management, and carries out audits to its published standards. Certified Humane offers certifications for conventional (caged), cage-free, free-range, and pasture-raised operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.wixstatic.com\/media\/f2640f_b078f3a6aefd4469b5dbf7face30c314~mv2.png\/v1\/fit\/w_193,h_233,al_c,q_5\/file.png\" alt=\"Fairtrade america, agriculture \"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fairtradeamerica.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Fairtrade<\/strong><\/a><strong> &#8211; <\/strong>The Fairtrade Mark ensures that farmers and workers have been paid a fair price for their product. In addition to the fair price, producers also receive a premium which goes towards the social, environmental and economic development of the local community where the product was produced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.wixstatic.com\/media\/f2640f_06c7a6cee5ea45b9913fb62918f83c3c~mv2.png\/v1\/fit\/w_208,h_288,al_c,q_5\/file.png\" alt=\"Fair trade certified, healthy eating, agriculture \"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fairtradecertified.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Fair Trade<\/strong><\/a><strong>&#8211; <\/strong>Fair Trade Certified standards are aimed towards cultivating a global trade model that empowers communities, farmers, workers, and consumers while protecting the environment. Certification means that the product complies with the Fair Trade USA\u2019s extensive set of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fairtradecertified.org\/business\/standards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">standards<\/a> which vary across industries. Although the standards are defined and established by Fair Trade, licenses are only issued after an independent third-party has certified that these standards are met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.wixstatic.com\/media\/f2640f_58567467401848bf80f61938b75cfa22~mv2.png\/v1\/fit\/w_235,h_216,al_c,q_5\/file.png\" alt=\"Animal welfare, healthy eating, agriculture\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/animalwelfareapproved.us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Animal Welfare Approved<\/strong><\/a><strong> &#8211;<\/strong> Requires access to pasture or range for all animals. Beak trimming of poultry and tail docking of pigs and cattle are prohibited, while pain relief is required for removal of horn buds of cattle. Producers must be \u201cfamily farmers\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.wixstatic.com\/media\/f2640f_04ca79b97c9c44b9afc22bcdc874ec4d~mv2.png\/v1\/fit\/w_288,h_288,al_c,q_5\/file.png\" alt=\"USDA, organic, healthy eating, agriculture \"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usda.gov\/topics\/organic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Certified Organic <\/strong><\/a><strong>&#8211;<\/strong> Certified Organic requires that all animals are given outdoor access, but access is not defined and vegetation is not required for poultry and pigs. Ruminants (cattle, sheep, goats) must have access to pasture. No antibiotics or hormones can be administered and there can be no use of synthetic additives like pesticides or chemical fertilizers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.wixstatic.com\/media\/f2640f_b832c1f5997148cfa684e129c5236d73~mv2.png\/v1\/fit\/w_300,h_300,al_c,q_5\/file.png\" alt=\"Certified grassfed, healthy, agriculture\" width=\"225\" height=\"172\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/agreenerworld.org\/solutions-and-certificates\/certified-nonge-agw\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Certified Non-GMO by A Greener World<\/strong> <\/a>&#8211; Certified Non-GMO by AGW is an optional addition to the Animal Welfare Approved standards. This certification guarantees food products are not only produced without genetically modified feed, supplements or ingredients, but also come from animals raised according to the animal welfare standards under Animal Welfare Approved by AGW. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.wixstatic.com\/media\/f2640f_aa0bed5f25a7458bad1037bd61cb74ce~mv2.png\/v1\/fit\/w_200,h_200,al_c,q_5\/file.png\" alt=\"Certified naturally grown, healthy eating, agriculture\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cngfarming.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Certified Naturally Grown<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; Certified Naturally Grown promotes sustainable agriculture through it\u2019s peer-review certification program for farmers producing food for their local communities.
