What we eat often reflects how we feel physically and how we feel about ourselves mentally. I can&#8217;t be my best self if I&#8217;m constantly feeding my body food that doesn&#8217;t fuel me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>        <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does living a healthy lifestyle mean to you?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For me, it&#8217;s about making food choices that are not only good for me, but for our environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the hardest part of living a healthy lifestyle?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pressure from mainstream media to overindulge and the constant reminders of the SAD (standard American diet). Going vegan for me meant unlearning a lot of things that I thought to be true my entire life. This was challenging!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/icanyoucanvegan\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenchoicenow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Desiree-Daniels-2-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5783\" width=\"317\" height=\"477\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greenchoicenow.com\/v\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Desiree-Daniels-2-1.jpeg 602w, https:\/\/www.greenchoicenow.com\/v\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Desiree-Daniels-2-1-199x300.jpeg 199w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 317px) 100vw, 317px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>         <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What are you looking for when you go grocery shopping?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>My usual fresh produce and shelf-stable items for sure, but I LOVE vegan ice cream so I always check the frozen treats aisle to see if there are any new flavors out! ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Have you used GreenChoice to implement your healthy lifestyle? What do you think of the app?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Not yet, but looking forward to doing so in the future!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What piece of advice would you share with someone who&#8217;s interested in living a healthy lifestyle?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Change doesn&#8217;t happen overnight. If you want to switch to a healthier lifestyle it&#8217;s important to take it one step at a time. For you this might mean approaching breakfast differently. Then as you feel more comfortable, creating healthier options for lunch and then eventually dinner. In addition, I always encourage people to know what they&#8217;re eating.
